Firmly established as one of the top studios in the Triad, Artistic Motion believes in the educational benefits provided by a positive and professional performing arts experience. Opening our doors over 10 years ago, we offer full performing arts training. With fun, challenging and age appropriate dance, music and theatre classes, we have class offerings for ages 3 through adult in our two convenient, state-of-the-art studio locations.

The Dance Center of Greensboro proudly offers Nationally certified dance curriculums through the Cecchetti International Examination Method of Ballet and the Dance Masters of America Program. Our instructors and students are certified through National Dance Examinations in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Acrobatics/Tumbling.

Nan’s School of Dance began when Nan Holt Smith started teaching 40 students in her hometown of Yadkinville, NC in 1975. She and her husband, Chuck Smith, established the 1st Greensboro studio in 1982. Nan’s oldest daughter, Jennifer Grinwis, grew up in the studio, started teaching after college, and has been director since 2002. Jon & Jen Grinwis now own the company. Nan’s School of Dance is a family business of providing a service for other families in our community. We operate our two locations in Greensboro, NC as well as our first studio in Yadkinville, NC.

SALIMAH was born in 1976, the brainchild of Diane M. Robinson. SALIMAH was founded to develop and expand growth and character in Black youth through the arts. The studio became a place where children would gain an education in dance and life, and where they trained and performed for excellence.

At Triple Threat DanCenter we are able to place your child in a class with students their age and ability, from the beginning student through the advanced student, ages 2 – adults. Many studios offer classes for all ages, but are unable to offer classes for students of all ages and levels.

Relax and stretch out with yoga; get some cardio action going with Hip Hop, hoop, and African dance; and learn fine control of all your muscles with belly dance. Extra bonus: new friends!
