In 1993, my sister and I opened Edible Art of Charlotte in historic Myers Park. Our goal was to bring Charlotte the same high quality birthday, specialty and wedding cakes that our Aunt Judy had been baking in Raleigh for over a decade. Using the same family recipes she developed, we opened in Charlotte, determined to carry on the tradition of creating high quality cakes.

Since 1999, Hansel and Gretel Wedding cakes are all made fresh (never frozen), and all feature home-made buttercream icing.
