Picking the Best Wedding Dress
Many women just go to stores and start picking what they feel like is the best dress they can get for the right price. But most don't consider the subtle differences in fabric and measurements that affect the style and how that meshes with different types of bodies.
For women who are more bottom heavy, for example, a full skirt is ideal and a dress that a dress that pays more attention to the upper body. Showing the arms and bust line is a plus, especially with a corset style bodice with lacing to help show off the upper body. Extra fabric around the hips area is a negative, try to find an A-line skirted wedding gown.
If you're a large busted woman try an off the shoulder gown with a narrow skirt. This balances on your body so that you don't look too heavy on the bottom or the top.
Whereas a bottom heavy woman should wear an A-line dress, that usually has a flattening effect on petite women. Sheaths shorten a small body as well, so those should be avoided also. Avoid very full skirts that don't expose anything, they tend to make women look yet even shorter as well. Just keep the clothes in proportions to your frame.
For full figured women the A-line is the way to go. This lengthens the body, which is what you want in this case. The empire waist can be an alternative way, as it conceals your waist and hips. Plus sized girls usually wear dresses that don't expose much, but some dresses, especially those that contain deep V necks can look best on full figured women.
