Wedding Advice
A Successful Wedding
Have you recently became engaged? Or maybe been engaged since forever and are finally getting to planning the wedding? Well don't stress out :). Here's a few tips that I feel often go unrecognized to make the experience a less bumpy ride.
First, relax. I can't stress that enough. You won't have time to enjoy your wedding if you're stressed out the whole time! Even if you forget something, there's plenty of other people involved with any wedding to make sure nothing is left out.
Along the same lines, don't rush the wedding. It'll be over before you know it no matter what you do. Take your time, enjoy yourself, and allow plenty of time for photos. It only happens once after all (hopefully)! Plus, the best photos capture you in the moment, so make each moment count. Speaking of photos, pay attention to the lighting where you are having your reception. The photographer can only do so much to make those photos shine, but you can be pro-active by making sure the lighting is optimum for photography as well as providing an atmosphere to make the whole event sparkle.
Make sure you have a place to get ready for everything ahead of time. You don't want to be stuck in the back of somone's vehicle trying to make everything fit, or in a crowded bathroom with people walking in and out getting ready for the most important moment of your life. Try your best to arrange for a comfortable place, with plenty of space and time for preparation. Also, bring anything you think you may need, because you don't want to have to send someone to go get it at the last second.
